We sail by catamaran from Bahia Mansa port to the Arrayanes forest enjoying beautiful views of the surrounding bays (Balsas, Cumelén and Manzano) as well as of the Andes range. After sailing for 45 minutes we enter Arrayanes National Park where we go along an 800-metres long footpath to admire those magnificent trees 160-250 years old on average, cinnamon colour and unique in the world as regards their species, assisted by an expert guide. Once the stroll is over, we visit the small Tea House in the Forest, a cosy place built in 1933 and then we go back to the catamaran. This excursion can also be combined taking the catamaran and returning by bike or on foot along the 12 km path (or the other way round).

During this excursion we visit Cerro Bayo ski centre (top height 1800 metres) going round River Bonito valley. During the ascent we stop at different viewpoints that give us the chance to appreciate Nahuel Huapi lake with unique views of the Quetrihué peninsula and Victoria island. One kilometre before arriving at the foot of the mountain, we enjoy a short walk to River Bonito waterfall – approximately 35 metres high that flows in a basalt fault. Water falls into a beautiful 8-metre emerald pond.  When arriving at the foot of the mountain being 1050 metres above sea level, we can take the lift chairs available to get to the top of the ski centre and enjoy incredible views of the village and its surroundings.

Along the circuit you are able to see the manufacture of different products as well as local craftwork in the place of origin and by its own producers. Techniques and affection are combined to show the real soul of our culture.
