Quality Description
The building has a large hexagonal hall being 9 metres long per side and having a total surface of 210 square metres with an average height of 8 metres. In four of the sides there are four additional halls (7x7 metres each) and two of them are connected to the main hall through a sliding door 6 metres wide.
On the remaining sides of the hexagon there is a stage and an entrance hall that includes toilets, the engine room and dressing rooms.
At the entrance there is a big heated lounge with marble floor which leads to the entrance hall of the building that is usually used for accreditation as well as a cloakroom.
It is important to remark that all the entrances to the building and its additional facilities are adapted for people with limited mobility.
Its peculiar hexagonal shape enables an original distribution and with multiple purposes as regards its use. From the beginning this building was meant to be a functional one.
All electrical appliances (including lamps and spotlights installed according to studies on light distribution) are centralized in an operating stall located above the main hall.
The ceiling of the main hall is to be remarked for its beauty and unique architecture and it is supported by girders that are frames to the walls which are totally covered in selected oregon pine tree wood.
Under the local regulations what is mostly seen in the building is the refined combination of stones and wood, which gives a mountain-style atmosphere to the place.

The halls are heated through a hot-air system due to the important height of the building (9,5 m) and also to avoid the stratification in the highest part of the halls, by means of permanent air circulation. The system is also used in summer as a ventilation device.
